About the role
Prep Academy Tutors of Richmond is seeking passionate senior algebra tutors to provide one‑on‑one, in‑home math instruction for students in pre‑algebra, Algebra I and II. The role supports students across K‑12 following Virginia curriculum standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver customized tutoring sessions in pre‑algebra, Algebra I and II.
- Provide remedial or enrichment instruction based on each student’s needs.
- Assign supplemental materials to enhance understanding and retention.
- Maintain open communication with parents/guardians to report on student progress.
Required profile
- Energetic and enthusiastic about helping students learn.
- Strong knowledge of math content, especially algebra.
- Professional, punctual, and organized.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
