Aircraft Maintenance Manager - C-12 Fleet

About the role

Amentum is seeking a C-12 Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance of a fleet of C-12 aircraft, their subsystems and support equipment in line with the customer's contracted terms. The scope covers maintenance, inspections, launch and recovery, contractor-owned spare parts, repair and overhaul at FAA-certified stations, aircraft paint and engine repair. The role requires leadership, technical expertise, regulatory knowledge and organisational skills, and is contingent on award.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute maintenance schedules for routine inspections, repairs and overhauls.
• Ensure compliance with FAA Part 23/43/145 requirements and commercial derivative aircraft.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and inspections as required by regulators.
• Supervise, train and evaluate maintenance staff, including technicians, engineers and support personnel.
• Implement maintenance practices aligned with safety standards.
• Manage inventory and procurement of tools, parts and equipment, working with vendors, contractors and suppliers.

Required profile

• 15 years or more of aircraft maintenance experience.
• 10 years or more managing multiple-site aircraft maintenance, including complex aircraft modifications.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a United States DoD Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Preferred: 7+ years maintaining King Air/1900 series aircraft, a Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Engineering, Logistics, Program Management or a related field (Master's preferred), and experience with military and civilian aircraft.
