Aircraft Electrical Technician A – H125 Final Assembly Line

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking an Aircraft Electrical Technician A to join the H125 Final Assembly Line team in Columbus, MS. The role involves working on assigned aircraft or parts within the avionics function, configuring and checking complete systems, and diagnosing and repairing malfunctions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform configurations of complete electrical and avionics systems.
• Conduct operational checks to verify proper functioning of components and systems.
• Carry out bonding checks of electrical installations.
• Use standard and specialized hand tools, power equipment, measuring devices and test equipment to complete assignments.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, vendor and service manuals to obtain dimensions, tolerances and alignment requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of experience assembling or installing electrical/electronic components, preferably on aircraft.
• Avionics and Cabling Class training (e.g., East Mississippi Community College) is desirable.
• Current A&P or FCC license preferred but not required.

Required skills

• Electrical/electronic component assembly.
• Avionics system configuration.
