AI Product Project Manager (Hybrid, San Francisco Bay Area)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing, family‑owned alternative lender that is already leveraging production‑grade AI agents across its core lending operations. As an AI Product Project Manager you will own the end‑to‑end delivery of a new AI transformation initiative, shaping how AI is embedded in sales, customer success, finance and other commercial functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead an AI transformation project from discovery through to production deployment.
• Run discovery workshops with subject‑matter experts to map current workflows.
• Re‑imagine and design AI‑first processes rather than simple automation.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, data science and architecture teams to build production‑ready solutions.
• Coordinate stakeholders, track milestones and ensure timely delivery.
• Measure success against tangible business outcomes and operational improvements.
• Support user adoption and drive continuous improvement post‑launch.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience delivering AI‑enabled products or transformation projects.
• Proven ability to redesign business processes using AI, not just add AI features.
• Strong product or project management background covering strategy and execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to work with both business SMEs and technical teams.
• Commercial mindset with focus on measurable impact.
