AI Business Operations Internship – Summer 2027

About the role

Philips is offering a three‑month paid internship in Nashville, TN, focused on AI‑enabled business operations. Interns will work on Project Nova, gaining hands‑on experience developing and testing AI agents and automation workflows within a HealthTech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and testing AI‑powered agents, automation workflows, and supporting technologies.
• Partner with internal teams and a third‑party developer to design, develop, and implement Project Nova.
• Analyze business requirements and identify automation opportunities for service contract processes.
• Support creation of a scalable platform architecture for long‑term sustainability.
• Design and prototype intuitive user interfaces and administration tools.
• Create technical documentation, process maps, and knowledge‑transfer materials.
• Participate in solution reviews, testing activities, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities, with attention to detail.
• Relevant experience through coursework, projects, extracurricular activities, or prior internships.
