Affordable Housing Coordinator – La Plaza

About the role

The Affordable Housing Coordinator will ensure that La Plaza’s community complies with all state and local affordable‑housing regulations. Working closely with the Community Manager and Assistant Community Manager, you will support reporting, audits, and day‑to‑day compliance activities for a stabilized property of 355 units.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and verify compliance with all affordable‑housing program requirements and reporting deadlines.
• Prepare and distribute compliance reports to local governmental agencies.
• Conduct regular property file audits and review procedures related to state and local housing programs.
• Identify audit findings, recommend corrective actions, and track remediation progress.
• Collaborate with leasing and resident services teams to ensure accurate documentation and eligibility verification.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience as a Resident Services Coordinator, preferably in affordable‑housing or leasing environments.
• Familiarity with affordable‑housing regulations, Capstone, and leasing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while supporting a busy property team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Onesite software.
• Proficiency with ILM (Integrated Lease Management) system.
