Advanced Practice Registered Nurse / Physician Assistant – Pediatrics

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its Pediatrics Emergency Medicine team. This regular, full‑time position provides an opportunity to deliver high‑quality care to pediatric patients in a collaborative academic health‑care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to children presenting to the emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and educational activities.

Required profile

• Current employee of the University of Arkansas System (including student employees and graduate assistants) or eligible external candidate.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Relevant APRN or PA certification and licensure for the state of Arkansas.
