Advanced Practice Provider Recruiter - Medicine Pediatrics - Per Diem

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Medicine seeks a per diem Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to provide comprehensive care for adult and pediatric patients, including well‑woman care and obstetrics.

Key responsibilities

• Perform age‑appropriate histories, physical examinations, and document comprehensive health records.
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic and therapeutic tests, and prescribe medications including controlled substances.
• Provide on‑call coverage after hours/weekends as needed and manage patient transitions across care settings.

Required profile

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Valid Florida APRN license and DEA license.
• Minimum two years of experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics.

Required skills

• Technical proficiency with office software and relevant computer applications.
• Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and adapt to changing priorities.
