Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Ohio North Market

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to work primarily at the Main Campus and provide coverage across North Ohio occupational health sites, with occasional travel to South Market locations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical histories, physical examinations, and order/interpret laboratory, radiology, and other diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe and monitor medications within state licensing limits and Cleveland Clinic policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in medical rounds, and ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on disease management, treatment plans, and medication side effects.
• Assist with quality monitoring, discharge planning, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of APP experience; new graduates are not considered.
• MSN from an accredited APRN program (required within 3 years of hire if not already held).
• Current Nurse Practitioner and RN licensure in the applicable state(s) with national NP certification.
• Basic Life Support certification; ACLS, PALS or NRP may be required based on setting.

Required skills

• Advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
• Interpretation of laboratory, radiologic, and cardiographic results.
• Prescribing authority and medication management.
