Advanced Practice Provider Manager – Dermatology

About the role

The Advanced Practice Provider Manager leads a team of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants within the Dermatology Institute at Cleveland Clinic. This full‑time position blends direct patient care with strategic management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee APP practice across multiple service lines, ensuring patient access and fill‑rate targets.
• Hire, orient, train, and evaluate APP staff, conducting performance reviews and productivity monitoring.
• Develop and implement departmental policies, competencies, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide clinical care as an APRN/PA in dermatology, maintaining privileges and adhering to standards of care.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant, with direct dermatology experience.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience, including team coaching and performance management.
• Current licensure and certification as an NP or PA in the applicable state, including BLS certification.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) where applicable.
• Clinical assessment, diagnosis, and invasive dermatologic procedures within scope of practice.
