Adult Reconstruction Surgeon (Physician)

About the role

Ochsner Health is expanding its Adult Reconstruction program and seeks board‑certified or board‑eligible orthopedic surgeons to join multidisciplinary teams at Ochsner Rush in Meridian, MS and Ochsner Lafayette General Orthopedic Hospital in Lafayette, LA.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality adult joint reconstruction surgery, including hip and knee replacements.
• Utilize cutting‑edge technologies such as robotic-assisted surgery and AI‑driven virtual scribe tools.
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers and other specialties to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Participate in teaching, research, and community outreach initiatives.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in orthopedic surgery with a focus on adult reconstruction.
• Demonstrated commitment to exceptional patient outcomes and continuous professional development.

Required skills

• Robotic surgery platforms for hip and knee procedures.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) integration and advanced IT systems.
• Experience using AI virtual scribe technology.
