Admissions Assistant (Work‑Study) – North Metro Campus

About the role

The Admissions Assistant supports daily operations of the Admissions office on the North Metro campus. This work‑study position involves greeting visitors, handling phone calls, processing admissions documents, and providing front‑desk assistance. It is ideal for students seeking experience in higher‑education administration.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist students, faculty, staff, and guests in person and by phone.
• Answer general inquiries about the college and its programs.
• Accept and process admissions documents and front‑desk tasks.
• Direct visitors to appropriate departments for issues outside Student Affairs.
• Assist with inquiries related to the Intensive English Program, ESL, and other academic programs.
• Support Student Affairs events as needed.

Required profile

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to work well with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and customer‑service abilities.
