Adjunct Nursing Instructor

About the role

The Adjunct Nursing Instructor will teach and supervise nursing students in classroom and clinical settings, contributing to their professional development and preparing them for effective practice in health‑care environments.

Key responsibilities

• Create a learning environment in classrooms, laboratories, and clinical sites that supports student achievement of knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
• Assist students in developing as nurses and integrating expected professional values and behaviors.
• Implement effective clinical and assessment evaluation strategies aligned with course learning outcomes.
• Apply clinical expertise to operationalize the curriculum and prepare graduates for real‑world health‑care settings.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication and collaborative inter‑professional relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a Master’s degree in Nursing (or active enrollment) from an ACEN/NLNAC or CCNE accredited program.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience in classroom or clinical settings.
• Demonstrated integrity, stability, imagination, and sound judgment in instruction.
• Commitment to lifelong learning and respect for students.

Required skills

• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of FERPA regulations.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Pennsylvania (or eligibility upon hire).
