Adjunct - AHA Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Instructor

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach American Heart Association (AHA) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid courses at Central Georgia Technical College. This part‑time position involves delivering classroom instruction, evaluating student performance, and maintaining accurate course records.

Key responsibilities

• Provide instruction for CPR, Basic Life Support, and First Aid courses using AHA curriculum.
• Set up and clean up equipment before and after each class.
• Maintain American Heart Association rosters, grading records, and inventory of instructional materials.
• Evaluate student skill proficiency and complete required reports and invoices promptly.
• Travel to multiple instructional sites within the college’s 11‑county service area as needed.
• Attend mandatory professional development and comply with Technical College System of Georgia policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support Instructor Certification.
• Ability to travel to various campus locations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
