Accounts Payable Specialist – Full-Time

About the role

Join Erickson-Hall Construction Co., a fast‑growing, employee‑owned construction firm in Southern California. The Accounts Payable Specialist will handle invoice processing, vendor management, and month‑end reconciliations to keep project finances accurate and timely.

Key responsibilities

• Process a high volume of invoices daily with precision.
• Maintain accurate records for auditing and tax reporting.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Allocate invoices to construction projects, cost codes, and job numbers.
• Prepare month‑end accrual entries and other postings.
• Manage lien administration, including notices, waivers, and releases.
• Coordinate check preparation and distribution.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in accounting or finance preferred; high school diploma required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in data processing or full‑cycle accounts payable.
• Previous construction administrative support experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Data‑entry competence.
