Accounts Payable Manager

About the role

The Accounts Payable Manager will lead the AP team within Cresc​o Labs' corporate finance function in Chicago. Reporting to the SVP, Corporate Controller, this role ensures accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and timely payments while maintaining strong internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a team of AP clerks and leads, overseeing daily invoice processing and expense voucher approvals.
• Analyze invoices and expense reports for accuracy, eligibility, and compliance with company policies.
• Manage timely payments to vendors and maintain accurate financial records.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, and key controls for the procure‑to‑pay function.
• Drive process improvements and integrate AP operations for newly acquired businesses and expanding markets.
• Collaborate with Controllership and other finance teams to ensure regulatory compliance and financial integrity.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing an accounts payable team in a corporate environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to lead process improvement initiatives and manage change.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
