Accountant – Managed IT Services Firm

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, motivated and detail‑oriented Accountant to join our team and support the company’s day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, analytical, and hands‑on, with the ability to take ownership of accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions and supporting documentation.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and payment documentation.
• Perform bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on collections when required.
• Process supplier payments and maintain accurate payment records.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper classification of expenses and revenues.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Prepare financial reports, account schedules, and management reports as required.
• Monitor cash movements and assist with cash flow reporting.
• Assist with VAT, tax, payroll, and other statutory filings in coordination with management and external auditors.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation and reconciliations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Arabic and English; French is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting or ERP software (preferred).
