Accountant – Cash & Banking Operations

About the role

The Accountant – Cash & Banking Operations is responsible for end‑to‑end ownership of all company bank movements, ensuring accuracy, completeness and transparency of cash transactions while supporting financial decision‑making and internal‑control compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage daily bank movements across all company accounts, including online sales collections, ACH/wire transfers and check deposits.
• Prepare and execute vendor payments via ACH, wires and checks, and record all outgoing payments in the accounting system.
• Perform full monthly bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and ensure general‑ledger balances match bank statements.
• Maintain clear documentation for all transactions, support audit requests and strengthen internal controls around cash disbursement and receipt processes.
• Produce weekly cash movement reports, monthly bank balance reports and assist in cash‑forecast preparation.
• Monitor the shared accounting inbox for vendor invoices, organize invoice documentation and prepare payment proposals for management review.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in office management, administration or a related finance function.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to work independently, investigate discrepancies promptly and maintain transparent records.
