Account Manager

About the role

As an Account Manager at Compose.ly you will be the primary contact for a portfolio of around 25 clients, ranging from early‑stage startups to enterprise brands. You will own the client relationship, guide strategy and ensure successful delivery of SEO, content and performance marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Build deep understanding of each client’s business, goals and audience, and translate that into actionable plans with the SEO, content and paid media specialists.
• Run monthly check‑ins and quarterly reviews, presenting results, ROI and next steps to stakeholders from marketing coordinators to C‑suite executives.
• Lead renewal conversations, identify risks early and flag legal or compliance concerns to leadership.
• Own onboarding, coordinate timelines, scope and priorities across multiple teams, and manage projects in Asana and the Compose.ly platform.
• Deliver tiered reporting—from lightweight updates to executive‑level decks—and train clients to interpret performance data.

Required profile

• 2+ years of account management or client services experience at a marketing agency with a consultative approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously using project‑management tools.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SEO and content marketing.
• Experience with Asana for project management.
• Familiarity with HubSpot or a similar CRM.
• Comfort reading marketing performance data and translating it into business impact.
