Account Manager – Florida (Agricultural Solutions)

About the role

BASF Agricultural Solutions is seeking an energetic Account Manager to cover Central to Northern Florida. This field‑based position will focus on growing market share for BASF’s vegetable seed portfolio while building lasting relationships with growers and distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, review, adapt and execute the annual sales plan for the assigned territory.
• Represent BASF, introduce products and concepts, and generate both short‑term sales and long‑term partnerships.
• Participate in international and cross‑border projects with customers.
• Provide market, pricing and product information to support the crop team’s marketing and sales strategy.
• Manage collections in line with financial policy and payment terms to ensure cash flow.
• Contribute to trial programs and propose assortment recommendations tailored to local needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–5 years of sales experience in the vegetable seed or broader agricultural industry.
• Solid knowledge of the vegetable seed business; watermelon crop experience is a plus.
• Strong agronomic understanding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
