Account Executive – Mid Market (Remote, US/Canada)

About the role

As an Account Executive on Sardine’s Enterprise team, you will champion the company’s fraud‑prevention platform with large US banks and Fortune 1000 enterprises. Reporting to the Head of Global Sales, you will build a qualified pipeline, design sales strategies and close high‑value deals while working remotely from anywhere in the US or Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Develop relationships with senior executives in Business, Technology, Risk and Compliance to raise awareness of Sardine’s value proposition.
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand client challenges, existing tech stacks and strategic priorities.
• Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles: qualify opportunities, tailor demos with Solutions Engineering, negotiate terms and manage contracting.
• Collaborate with Growth, BDR and cross‑functional teams to provide market feedback and refine go‑to‑market tactics.

Required profile

• 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including 4+ years selling to US banks and Fortune 1000 companies.
• Established network of senior industry executives in fraud, compliance and financial services.
• Proven consultative selling ability with strong discovery and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, public‑speaking and written skills; willingness to travel as needed.
