About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is offering an Academic Visitor position for a student interested in gaining hands‑on experience with its Cardiology and IMSL/CVS service lines. This unpaid internship provides exposure to the business side of clinical operations.

Key responsibilities

Assist with special projects related to clinics, resident programs, and reporting.
Support day‑to‑day activities of the COM Cardiology department.
Gather and analyze data to help improve service line efficiency.
Collaborate with faculty and staff on business‑focused initiatives.

Required profile

Current student eligible for an unpaid internship (UCA Intern designation).
Interest in healthcare business operations and cardiology.
Ability to obtain proof of legal work authorization in the United States.
