ABA Behavior Interventionist (Outreach Applicant)

About the role

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center (ABTC) is hiring Behavior Technicians for its outreach program, providing in-home ABA services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Sessions last 2-5 hours, mostly with children aged 3-17, on afternoon and evening schedules. No prior ABA experience is required, as paid training and mentorship from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) are provided.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help and daily living skills
• Help reduce challenging behaviors using positive, evidence-based strategies
• Collect accurate session data and complete clinical documentation
• Collaborate with supervising clinicians and communicate professionally with families and caregivers
• Attend ongoing training and team meetings

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Availability of at least 15 hours per week
• Afternoon/evening availability between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and current auto insurance and registration
• Willingness to travel up to 25 miles from home for client sessions
• Experience working with children is a plus; bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply
