About the role

The Elmhurst Community Unit School District 205 is seeking a dedicated 5th‑grade monolingual English Language Arts (ELA) teacher for the 2026‑2027 school year. This full‑time classroom position focuses on delivering departmentalized ELA instruction to a diverse group of students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess ELA curriculum aligned with Illinois state standards.
• Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
