About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is offering a ten‑week Summer 2027 Technology Internship for undergraduate sophomores. Interns will join the System IT organization, working on real projects that support the stability and efficiency of the nation’s monetary and payments systems. This on‑site program provides mentorship, professional development, and exposure to senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to technology work across areas such as information security, data management, software development, business operations, or end‑user services.
• Write and test code, prepare and manage data sets, and conduct competitive analyses or research for technology teams.
• Assist in analyzing current and new technology architecture designs.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate sophomore.
• Strong interest in technology and financial services.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in New York for ten weeks.
