2027 Summer Business Generalist Internship

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is offering a 9‑week, paid summer internship in 2027 for students interested in business operations across multiple divisions. Interns will work 35 hours per week in a hybrid setting, gaining hands‑on experience that supports the Bank’s mission and the national economy.

Key responsibilities

• Support HR talent‑management programs, vendor management, and leadership development initiatives.
• Assist financial‑management teams with month‑end close, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical projects.
• Perform audit‑related tasks such as client interviews, work‑paper documentation, and data analysis.
• Contribute to Treasury Relations projects, including CRM application profiling and data‑visualization reporting.
• Work with the Internal Support, Payments and SASTeC team on vendor support, onboarding/off‑boarding processes, budgeting, and business analytics.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with interest in business, finance, HR, audit, or related fields.
• Strong analytical mindset and willingness to engage in cross‑functional projects.
• Preferably majoring in finance, accounting, economics, business, or information systems.
