Workers' Compensation Adjuster – Remote (NM)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Adjuster to investigate, evaluate and resolve claims for New Mexico clients. The role is fully remote but requires the candidate to reside in New Mexico and hold a state adjuster license.

Key responsibilities

• Determine insurance coverage and compensability for each filed claim.
• Investigate claims by interviewing employees, employers, witnesses and obtaining records such as hospital, police and physician reports.
• Prepare thorough reports and negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys.
• Manage litigation activities, control costs and handle catastrophic or complex cases.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience handling Workers' Compensation claims in New Mexico.
• Current New Mexico adjuster license and ability to meet licensing requirements.

Required skills

• EDI and CMS/Section 111 reporting.
• Proficiency with standard or customized claims‑adjustment software applications.
