Wholesale Planning Manager

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a Wholesale Planning Manager to act as a trusted advisor for internal teams and external wholesale partners. The role focuses on building and managing sales and inventory forecasts to drive brand success and optimize inventory investments.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with sales, merchants, and wholesale customers to develop bottom‑up sales and inventory plans.
• Build monthly forecasts, identify trends and opportunities, and mitigate risks.
• Oversee planning for assigned business segments and provide oversight for wholesale customer planning.
• Facilitate cross‑functional action plans to grow the business and ensure information flow.
• Conduct quantitative analysis to improve productivity, respond to trends, and address outliers.
• Lead monthly plan reviews, highlighting risk and opportunity drivers to leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or 8+ years combined education and experience).
• Minimum 5 years of planning experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience planning across multiple seasons and collaborating with partners on risks and opportunities.
• Desire to grow as a people leader and collaborative partner.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid schedule based in San Francisco, CA.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex functions.

What we offer

• Competitive salary range of $113,000 – $155,000 per year.
• Base pay, incentive plans, 401(k) matching, paid leave, health insurance, product discounts, and other benefits.
• Hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite, typically Tuesday‑Thursday).
