VP Financial Controller – North America

About the role

This senior finance position leads the North American finance function for a listed global marketing services company. You will drive the region’s finance transformation, ensure accurate reporting, and build robust controls while managing a large team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close and financial reporting for North America, delivering accurate results to the parent company.
• Partner with business units to assess contracts and ensure revenue recognition complies with US GAAP or IFRS.
• Oversee payroll, accounts payable, and collaborate with AR/Collections to guarantee billing accuracy.
• Own regional cash‑flow forecasting and working‑capital optimization.
• Serve as regional lead for migrating legacy ERPs to a unified global platform.
• Design and implement public‑company‑standard internal controls for transactions and reporting.
• Manage complex intercompany reconciliations and transfer‑pricing execution.
• Lead a regional team of 20+ finance professionals, including controllers and accountants.

Required profile

• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a large global advertising or marketing services firm.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS and experience in a publicly traded environment.
• Proven track record of leading ERP migration projects.
• Hands‑on leader who thrives in fast‑paced, transformational settings.
