About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Volunteer Faculty member to support the CW Surgery Education program. This position focuses on resident training and contributes to the academic mission of the institution.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver educational sessions and lectures to surgical residents.
- Mentor and provide feedback to trainees during clinical rotations.
- Assist in developing and updating curriculum and teaching materials.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
- Maintain compliance with university policies, including COVID‑19 vaccination requirements.
Required profile
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree.
- Active clinical experience in surgery.
- Commitment to medical education and resident mentorship.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
