Virtual Access & Reimbursement Manager

About the role

The Virtual Access & Reimbursement Manager will support client‑defined geographies remotely, helping healthcare providers navigate payer requirements and secure product access for patients. Working from a home office, you will act as the primary liaison between providers, sales, market access, and patient‑service teams to ensure seamless reimbursement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess new geographic territories quickly and establish virtual relationships with provider offices.
• Educate physicians, nurses and office staff on payer policies, reimbursement procedures, and available patient support services for cardiovascular products.
• Develop and execute territory access plans, prioritising accounts according to client objectives.
• Coordinate with sales, market access, specialty pharmacy partners and other matrix stakeholders while documenting activities in the approved CRM system.
• Provide virtual assistance via phone, Zoom, Webex or Teams to resolve patient‑level access and reimbursement issues, adhering to defined Rules of Engagement and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Experience in pharmaceutical market access, field reimbursement or patient support services.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple virtual territories.
• Excellent communication skills with healthcare professionals.
• Understanding of retail pharmacy reimbursement processes and payer landscapes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a CRM platform for activity tracking.
• Familiarity with virtual meeting tools such as Zoom, Webex and Microsoft Teams.
