Truck Driver – 1st Shift

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Truck Driver for the 1st shift (Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑8:00 pm) to transport live poultry and poultry feed safely between growers and processing facilities. The position offers day‑one benefits, on‑the‑job training, and a referral bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and document pre‑trip inspections of tires, oil, fuel, lights, brakes, hoses, etc.
• Assist with loading and unloading trailers, ensuring loads are secured before movement.
• Maintain accurate documentation for equipment, time, trips, and weight.
• Clean and wash the truck as needed and report any maintenance issues.
• Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) safety rules, company policies, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Valid Class A CDL with at least one year of satisfactory driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work unsupervised, self‑motivate, and maintain a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions, lift up to 75 lb, and handle long shifts.

Required skills

• Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
