Triple P Family In-Home Education Trainer (Temporary)

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking a temporary trainer to deliver the Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) family in‑home education sessions. The role supports families by providing evidence‑based parenting guidance and collaborates closely with DCFS, other public agencies, and community professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑home Triple P education sessions for families across the state.
• Coordinate with the Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS) and other partner agencies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and client progress.
• Travel extensively within Arkansas and work flexible hours, including evenings as needed.
• Report directly to the Parenting Program Director and adhere to state and federal regulations.

Required profile

• Degree in Social Work with LSW, LMSW, or LCSW licensure, or a Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education, or a related human/social science field.
• Demonstrated experience working with children or families.
• Ability to obtain Triple‑P certification during training.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with families, agencies, and community partners.

Required skills

• Knowledge of evidence‑based parenting interventions (Triple P).
• Understanding of state and federal regulations governing family services.
