Training and Staff Development Coordinator

About the role

The Training and Staff Development Coordinator will lead onboarding and orientation for new hires at Passavant Memorial Homes’ Harmar location. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, you will ensure compliance with regulatory standards while delivering engaging, interactive training.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with recruitment to track new‑hire start dates and schedule orientation sessions.
• Manage regulatory compliance for all new‑hire training, including I‑9 verification and documentation.
• Deliver orientation using in‑person, virtual, video, and Relias LMS formats.
• Provide CPR/First Aid instruction and organize on‑the‑job training with program managers.
• Enter training data into the HRIS and monitor staff training records for compliance.
• Assist in developing and updating training policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and minimum age of 18.
• Associate degree or higher.
• Experience in Human Resources, including onboarding and compliance.
• Certified CPR/First Aid Instructor.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Experience using the Relias Online Learning Management System.
• Public speaking or teaching experience (highly preferred).
