Temporary Customer Service Representative (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Temporary Customer Service Representative to join our remote team for a 5‑month contract. You will be the primary point of contact for OLLY’s customers, ensuring smooth order processing, inventory coordination, and issue resolution across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver world‑class service to customers and retailers, handling inquiries and problem resolution.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and supply‑chain teams to support order fulfillment.
• Process full‑cycle customer orders using EDI and Microsoft D365 (ERP).
• Troubleshoot ad‑hoc issues and work with 3PL partners to manage finished‑goods inventory.
• Set up customer and item data, manage Bills of Materials, create UPCs, and maintain data hubs in Salsify.
• Identify at‑risk orders with the S&OP Manager and manage allocations.
• Monitor open, available, and aged inventory, providing regular updates and reports.
• Facilitate new‑customer onboarding, including routing guides and item requests.
• Compile metrics and KPIs to track customer‑service performance.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of customer‑service experience, preferably in CPG or inventory management.
• Strong business acumen with basic knowledge of warehousing, logistics, and inventory.
• Proactive problem‑solver who anticipates issues and acts independently.
• Excellent communicator and listener, able to read between the lines.
• Fast learner, adaptable to change, highly organized and self‑motivated.
• Strong Excel and math skills.
