Technical Account Manager (French speaking)

About the role

Datadog is looking for a Technical Account Manager who speaks French to serve as a trusted advisor for our largest customers. You will help clients adopt and maximize the value of Datadog’s monitoring platform while ensuring their IT operations align with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and product adoption guidance throughout pre‑sales, post‑sales, and renewal cycles.
• Analyze customers’ IT operations environments and recommend configurations that increase Datadog’s impact.
• Act as the customer’s advocate, suggesting process changes, new features, and additional services.
• Prepare and lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with clients.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and technical services teams to influence roadmap and new feature development.
• Continuously improve best‑practice guidance for product adoption and customer success.

Required profile

• Strong technical foundation with hands‑on experience in IT operations.
• Experience working as a TAM or similar role for mid‑market or enterprise cloud customers.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time (up to 4 hours per trip).

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Scripting languages: Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, Go, PHP.
• Configuration management: Chef, Puppet.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab.
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher.
• Experience with Datadog or other cloud monitoring solutions.
