Tax Specialist (Fiscalist)

About the role

Join a collaborative accounting firm that serves agricultural and forestry producers in the Chaudière-Appalaches region. As a Tax Specialist, you will provide complex tax planning and advisory services to a diverse client base from our offices in Sainte‑Marie and Saint‑Georges.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex tax planning, corporate transfers, reorganizations, succession matters, and financial planning.
• Review and audit complex tax files, including quota sales and business transfers.
• Prepare and file client income tax returns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and membership in the CPA order.
• Master’s degree in taxation or completion of the ICCA In‑Depth training.
• Relevant experience in an accounting firm or comparable environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to represent the service to clients.
• Creative problem‑solving abilities.
