Talent Screener (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Talent Screener to join our remote recruitment team. You will be responsible for evaluating candidates handed off by Talent Sourcers and conducting live video screening interviews. This position offers a flexible remote work environment with a consistent schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Screen every candidate from Talent Sourcers without re‑qualifying them before scheduling.
• Review applicants from all other sources against knockout criteria and advance qualified candidates to a screening interview.
• Escalate ambiguous or borderline profiles to the assigned Recruiter.
• Complete review decisions for non‑sourced applicants within three days and record outcomes in the ATS.
• Conduct live video screening interviews using the approved guide and scorecard, assessing qualifications, work authorization, location, relocation feasibility, and compensation expectations.
• Maintain consistent questioning, scoring, and disposition coding across high‑volume reviews.
• Ensure data hygiene in the applicant tracking system, including deduplication and required field completion.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined screening criteria.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, capable of adapting tone to diverse candidate backgrounds.
• Ability to make quick, data‑driven decisions while adhering to compliance guidelines.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with a set schedule (Mon‑Fri, 9 AM‑5 PM PST).

Required skills

• Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for data entry and reporting.
