Systems Support Administrator

About the role

Framestore’s Oscar‑winning Technology team is looking for a Systems Support Administrator to join its New York studio. The role provides escalation support for IT incidents and helps maintain a robust infrastructure that powers world‑class visual effects production.

Key responsibilities

• Provide escalation support for incidents and service requests via JIRA Service Desk.
• Support storage requests and administer enterprise storage platforms (GPFS, Isilon, ZFS).
• Monitor system health, performance and alerts using Grafana and Nagios.
• Maintain OS images and deploy Linux/Windows application packages.
• Manage license servers, Active Directory and virtualization (VMware ESXi).
• Support the render farm software and related infrastructure.
• Produce and update technical documentation in Confluence and collaborate with other technology teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in a Level 1 IT support or similar role.
• Hands‑on hardware experience including builds, upgrades and repairs.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation.
