About the role

The System Administrator III will own the day‑to‑day operation of Adeia’s critical IT infrastructure, spanning SaaS platforms, networking, security tools, and endpoint management. This senior‑level position serves as the escalation point for Help Desk issues, providing advanced troubleshooting and mentorship to improve team efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage daily IT infrastructure operations, change management, and system documentation.
  • Support primary SaaS platforms: Okta, FastPass, Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, Box, Druva, and lab NAS servers.
  • Oversee device management tools such as Intune, Jamf, and LogMeIn Resolve.
  • Maintain security solutions including CrowdStrike, Cloudflare WARP, Mimecast, and KnowBe4.
  • Administer Meraki networking equipment and CloudRadius services.
  • Handle print services via Papercut cloud printing.
  • Coordinate with ISPs and SaaS vendors.
  • Implement workflow automation using Workato or similar middleware.
  • Act as senior escalation point for Level 1/2 Help Desk tickets and mentor staff.
  • Deploy monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk) and lead root‑cause analysis for critical incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR and enforce IAM best practices.

Required profile

  • Proven experience managing enterprise‑scale IT infrastructure and SaaS services.
  • Strong background in security, compliance, and incident response.
  • Ability to mentor junior staff and lead technical investigations.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to system health.
