Software Engineer I / II

About the role

Giga is building the next generation of real‑time AI agents that understand emotion and resolve issues instantly. As a Software Engineer I/II you will work on the backend systems that power these agents, from data pipelines and integrations to core agent infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and ship features for the Atlas AI assistant, including Slack charts, alerts, and natural‑language queries.
• Build and maintain the Activity Stream for log visualization and agent behavior insights.
• Implement dynamic knowledge sources that auto‑update from status pages and other feeds.
• Enhance agent memory to provide context‑aware conversations across sessions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on larger initiatives while owning smaller projects end‑to‑end.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Curious mindset with a habit of asking deep technical questions.
• Ability to receive feedback, iterate quickly, and prioritize shipping functional code.
• Desire to take real responsibility early in a fast‑growing startup.
