Surveyor II – Offshore Survey & Positioning Specialist

About the role

The Surveyor II operates survey and positioning equipment safely and efficiently on offshore projects, primarily in the Gulf of Mexico and other remote locations. The role involves installing, calibrating, and maintaining surface and subsea sensors to support real‑time vessel and ROV positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Operate cameras, acoustic positioning systems, sonars, subsea tooling, and surface positioning systems.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain surface and subsea sensors for real‑time positioning.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, and ensure care and safety of company equipment.
• Perform additional tasks to support organizational objectives, including travel to domestic and overseas sites.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• 2–4 years experience in the survey industry as a Survey Professional.
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card and a valid passport for offshore work.
• Basic computer skills.
