Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to support its materials management departments. The role focuses on customer service, issue resolution, and ensuring supplies are efficiently received, inventoried, and delivered across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor internal and external customer service email accounts and phone lines to maintain service levels.
• Generate and analyze monthly productivity and supply chain reports to improve efficiency.
• Accurately receive, issue, and return inventory and purchase orders.
• Train new employees on receiving and central supply duties.
• Resolve errors related to receipts, customer orders, and par levels.
• Identify and address internal and external customer needs and work to improve supply chain processes.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience in inventory management or distribution; healthcare supply chain experience preferred.
• Forklift certification required within 30 days of hire for Warehouse District Row location.
• Ability to travel between facilities and work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (certified)
• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications
