Structural Engineer – Multi‑Level Wood Design (Remote, MT)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to lead the design of multi‑level wood buildings for residential and multifamily projects across the United States. This fully remote position works on Mountain Time and collaborates closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver construction‑ready plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead structural design of multi‑level wood structures in compliance with NDS and SDWPS.
• Support design of concrete, steel, and masonry elements.
• Produce structural calculations, models, and construction‑ready details.
• Develop and draft structural plans, preferably using Revit.
• Perform analysis with Forte, Tedds, and RISA.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and the Project Manager to meet project schedules.
• Manage personal schedule and priorities while working independently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience designing multi‑level wood structures.
• Strong communication, time‑management, and organizational abilities.
• Proactive mindset with a desire for continuous learning.
