Structural Engineer

About the role

Join a dynamic engineering team that delivers structural projects from concept through construction. You will perform design calculations, support modeling, and take part in site inspections while building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Assist structural engineering teams throughout all project phases, from concept to construction.
• Perform structural design calculations manually and with 2D/3D analysis software.
• Support modeling, documentation, and design coordination across multiple project types.
• Participate in site inspections to gather field data and verify design intent.
• Serve as primary client contact for assigned projects and coordinate resources with the Team Leader.
• Review contractor submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings for compliance.
• Conduct construction observations, prepare punch lists, and support project close‑out documentation.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in structural engineering and analysis.
• Ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) licensure within two years.
• Experience designing for K‑12 schools, higher education, municipal, civic, multi‑family housing, or sports facilities.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with project stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in structural design and analysis software, including Revit.
