About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Strength and Conditioning Coach to support athletes and students in the Northwest Arkansas region. This instructional development position focuses on designing and delivering performance‑enhancing programs while promoting health and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and evaluate strength and conditioning programs for university athletes and participants.
• Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and adjust training plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with medical staff, coaches, and academic departments to ensure integrated support.
• Maintain equipment, ensure a safe training environment, and uphold university policies.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
• Experience working with collegiate athletes or similar populations.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
