About the role
Join the Airport Hubs & Gateway Team within American Airlines' Customer Experience Division as a Staff Assistant I. You will provide essential administrative support to keep airport operations running smoothly while delivering a welcoming experience for employees and visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate meeting arrangements, manage filing systems, and ensure telephone coverage.
- Greet and direct customers, handle mail, and order/distribute office supplies.
- Reconcile P‑card spending, track anniversaries/birthdays, and arrange travel and hotel accommodations.
- Assist with management presentations and special projects.
- Troubleshoot office technology issues, including phones and copiers.
- Track onboarding tasks such as system access, locker assignments, badges, and training.
- Support station event planning and execution (e.g., crew luncheons, holiday meals, recognition events).
- Handle attendance and compliance, equipment distribution, payroll coordination, and operation coverage.
Required profile
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous office or clerical experience.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
