SSP Associate – 12hr Day Shift

About the role

The SSP Associate works on the 12‑hour day shift in a fast‑paced packaging environment. You will pick silver stock from the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), stage orders for packaging machines, and support inventory accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Pick silver stock from the ASRS and rack it for customer packaging orders.
• Retrieve, verify, and stage all materials required for scheduled runs according to the Tableau production plan.
• Coordinate with inventory control, production teams, and the master production scheduler to ensure timely material availability.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, FDA regulations, and internal SOPs/WIs.
• Perform routine material availability checks, report discrepancies, and assist with cycle counts.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives related to material flow and staging efficiency.
• Operate packaging machines as needed to meet production targets.
• Work occasional extended hours or mandatory overtime to meet business needs.

Required profile

• Understanding of SOPs, work instructions, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read technical production schedules and run plans (e.g., Tableau).
• Experience with ASRS systems and inventory management software is desirable.
• Strong numerical, verbal, and literacy skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
