Software Test Engineer – Azurion Eye

About the role

The Software Test Engineer will join the Image Guided Therapy Devices (IGT‑D) software R&D team in Plymouth, MN. You will focus on manual and automated testing of integration and machine‑learning‑enabled workflows for the Azurion Eye clinical imaging platform.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Owner and development team to ensure requirements are complete, testable, and meet interface specifications.
• Evaluate and select test‑automation tools and frameworks for integration testing of IntraSight and Azurion platforms.
• Create and document automated test scenarios, plans, and cases covering functional, reliability, performance, safety, and risk‑control aspects.
• Develop or use test simulators to emulate hardware functionality and manage virtual test infrastructure.
• Document test results, observations, and issues per regulatory and quality standards, and perform regression testing to confirm fixes.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience as a Software Test Automation Engineer or Verification Engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across matrixed, global teams.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.

Required skills

• Testing enterprise software platforms and hospital systems (PACS, RIS, HIS).
• Test case management tools: Jama, TestComplete, Quality Center.
• Test automation tools: Postman, Tosca, TestComplete, PyTest.
• Scripting with Python and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of IEC 62304, IEC 82304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971 standards.
