About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Software Engineering Co‑Op to join the Applied Science and AI team in Danvers, MA. The role supports the development and testing of software components for a Class III medical device, offering hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge tools and Agile processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support a productive, innovative team by collaborating with peers, managers, and cross‑functional groups.
• Assist in integrating new data sources into existing architecture and develop software solutions using Agile methodologies.
• Participate in software verification, validation, and integration testing, and contribute to documentation.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Linux OS and at least one web UI framework (e.g., Angular).
• Self‑motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Coding experience in Javascript, C, Lua or Rust.
• Basic statistical analysis and algorithm/data analysis capabilities.
• Experience with version control (Git) and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

What we offer

• Hourly pay ranging from $23.50 to $52.50 based on program year, discipline, degree and experience.
